These suede over the knee boots were one of my best purchases last year. I’ve worn them with skinny jeans and oversized sweaters, little black dresses and skirts and blouses. I love the color because I can pair them with just about anything in my closet.

Before purchasing something new, especially if it’s more of an investment, I make sure it’s an item that I can style multiple ways. This is something that’s stopped me from filling up my cart as soon as I see a good sale (and buying a shirt in every.single.color – why did I do that in high school? #sorrymom). In the past, I would buy something because I got a good deal on it, instead of really thinking about if I’ll wear it season after season.
Back to the outfit. These Dolce Vita boots (I also love these and these) are comfortable and warm: two factors that are very important to me as we transition from fall to winter. I love throwing them on with the perfect pair of denim and a classic button down to create more of an effortlessly chic outfit. They’re perfect for a casual Friday at work or a night out on the weekend.
